Costa Ladera

Getting there

Costa Ladera is located in Ensenada, 70 miles south of San Diego and a quick 90-minute drive along a scenic coastal highway.

Enter Mexico from I-5 and once you’re across the border, stay in the second lane from the right until passing the first off ramp to Tijuana, then get in the far right lane and follow the signs for Rosarito/Ensenada Scenic Route.

The Rosarito/Ensenada Scenic Route will take you along the Mexico/U.S. border and as the highway turns south along the coast, you’ll encounter the first of three tollbooths where the toll is $2.50 (USD). Along the way you can stop and stretch your legs at rest areas with shops and restrooms. After the third tollbooth, you are just one mile from Costa Ladera and just six miles to the heart of Ensenada.

Driving tips

Do keep in mind that the highway speed is measured in kilometers and not miles per hour. Currently, to cross the border, all you need is valid photo identification however; additional border information can be found at www.tijuana.com/info.html
